Meet our talented Crave Beauty Academy Team… Excellence in Education

The Crave Beauty Academy team strives to stay abreast of the most current industry trends. Our team consists of some of the finest educators, guest service personnel, and directors. We have been recognized as leaders in the professional industry and our local communities. We have been honored with some of the most elite awards in Excellence in Education, Best in Business, Emerging Leaders and rated the Winner and Favorited in local community awards.

Wichita Campus

Stacey Peters, Senior Director, Licensed    Cosmetologist, & Educator

Stacey is from Laramie, WY but has also lived in South Dakota, Nebraska, and now she currently lives in Kansas. She is also a licensed Cosmetologist in all four states. Stacey graduated from a Cosmetology school in Wyoming with her associates degree. She then proceeded with her education degree at Xenon International Academy in 2004 for the Educators Program. Stacey has previous experience as a Salon Manger and Stylist, and she was an Educator for Matrix. One of Stacey’s main passions is education. Stacey’s mentors are Geno Stampora and Dog Cox. She had the privilege to work one on one with them. Stacey states that they are very motivated and strive for a better professional image of our industry. Stacey’s greatest accomplishment is being the youngest Matrix Educator hired in the Mid-West at the age of 21. Stacey is the Senior Campus Director at Crave Beauty, and has been with the academy as of 2002. She has pursued her career in the Beauty Industry through Education. She has found that her passion is working with others and watching students grow and achieve success in the industry.


Hollie Holtzinger, Executive Administrative Assistant & Licensed Cosmetologist

Hollie graduated from Crave in April of 2015 as a Licensed Cosmetologist.  Shortly after graduating, she accepted a position as a Designer at Ulta Beauty where she did hair and makeup services.  After some time, she decided to join the Crave team in early 2018.  She is currently the Executive Administrative Assistant.  She enjoys being back in the school atmosphere where she gets to meet so many new people, all of which have a unique story.  She has always had a love for the beauty industry and a passion for helping people feel beautiful.  Now she is able to see the students’ successes and the joy this industry brings them as well.


Sherri Westney, Director of Student Financial Services, Licensed Cosmetologist

Sherri has been a part of the beauty industry family since 2003. After making the decision to sell her family’s business, she chose to enter into a new career for herself…cosmetology. Sherri earned her cosmetology training at Xenon Int’l Academy. Immediately after becoming licensed, she continued her education and became a licensed cosmetology instructor/educator. She then spent the majority of her time in the classroom working with and educating the cosmetologists of the future. Sherri has been doing financial aid at the academy for several years and is now in the corporate office processing students’ financial aid for both the Wichita, KS and Ballwin, MO campuses for Crave Beauty Academy.


Jessy Orth, Associate Director, Cosmetologist Educator

Jessica followed in her mother’s footsteps when she earned her cosmetology license and began working behind the chair in August 2005. She quickly discovered a desire to share her knowledge with aspiring stylists and became an educator at Xenon International Academy in Wichita, KS in 2007. Jessica grew into a well-known and respected teacher at Crave and currently leads the school’s sculpture, male specific styling, and makeup artist programs. She was inspired to become an American Crew educator after she attended Menswork™ Academy in 2011. Jessica was recognized for her work as a local educator and American Crew TeamCrew member in Wichita Business Journal’s “People on the Move” column that same year. Jessica worked her way through the educator advancement program and became a Master Educator. Jessica recently took on the role of assisting the owner and the director in managing students and staff. In addition to working at Crave, Jessica currently serves as a stylist and makeup artist specializing in beauty, bridal, editorial and special effects.


Tabitha Ryan,  Admissions Advisor & Licensed Cosmetologist

Tabitha graduated from Xenon International Academy in 2009 as a licensed cosmetologist. She has a passion for vivid hair color, makeup as well as special effects makeup. She worked in a salon until 2014 when she moved to Minnesota and took a little break from hair. In 2018 she moved back home to Wichita working with SalonCentric, then began her career with Crave as the Admission Advisor in 2020. She loves helping future students begin their journey in the beauty industry and watching them flourish!


Ashlee Littlejohn, Enrollment Resources & Licensed Cosmetologist

Ashlee graduated from Cosmetology school in 2007, and worked professionally for 6 years in the salon specializing in high textured hair and formal styling.  While working in the salon, Ashlee decided to venture out into the makeup world working for companies such as MAC, Chanel, and Bobbi Brown.  Ashlee is also a certified Lash Artist and enjoys teaching our students the in’s and out’s of makeup artistry.  She enjoys working with Future Professionals and guiding them from the moment they step foot in our doors until they complete their program!


Shana Keller, Educator & Licensed Esthetician

Shana R Keller. I am a God-fearing Christian who loves K state Wildcat football, raising my teenage daughter, and coaching middle school/high school volleyball for Wichita Defenders and FSC Cougars. After Working 12 years in the medical field with Wichita Clinic I Graduated from Xenon International Academy in 2008 with an Esthetics Certificate and Advanced International Therapy Examination Council Certification. Obtained my Massage License from Body and Soul in 2011, Esthetics Instructor degree in 2012 and Obtained a Mind, Body Wellness degree from Southwest Institute of the healing arts with emphasis in Life coaching, Hypnotherapy and Holistic Nutrition in 2019. I successfully ran a private wellness practice for 5 years before permanently closing my doors to invest in coaching and educating as a primary focus. I am excited to be part of an industry that is focused on a complete mind, body and spirit experience and look forward to utilizing my diversified background to mentor many beautiful souls in their journey.

Terran Rodriguez, Educator & Licensed Esthetician

My motivation and draw towards skin therapy was helping people achieve comfort in their own skin. I’m super passionate about my artistry corrective work as well as energy work. I bring lots of enthusiasm to learning. A little bit of advice to someone wanting to pursue a career in the beauty industry… keep your chin up, find a mentor, and remember why you are doing this. I attended Xenon’s and continued education at Crave for esthetics. I am  a Mac certified tier 3 make up artist and have previous education in the cosmetology industry. I enjoy seeing on a daily basis the attention ad opportunities students receive. I offer one on one care and preparation for the future career of our graduates.


 

Lauren Henning, Educator & Licensed Cosmetologist

Lauren has had a passion for the Beauty Industry since she was as young girl.  She was inspired by her mother to pursue her true passion and enroll in beauty school.  She graduated from Xenon Int’l Academy in 2013, and immediately found herself with a position in a salon behind the chair.  In February of 2016, Lauren relocated to Telluride, CO.  Her time there was spent behind the chair at an upscale, main street located salon, just before returning to Wichita and joining our team at Crave!  Lauren has a passion for all things color and education, and looks forward to being a part of shaping the Future Professionals of today.


Amber Wallace, Cosmetology Educator

Amber graduated from Xenon International Academy in 2014 as a licensed cosmetologist and valedictorian of her class. She began her career with Regis in Towne East and then found her long term salon home at Cut Salon. After 5 years behind the chair, she has now made it back full circle to Crave and is now a licensed educator. Amber has always had the dream of teaching in the beauty industry. Her family is full of teachers as well as beauticians so it seemed fitting for her to follow both of those career paths and become a beauty school educator. Amber enjoys all aspects of the cosmetology industry. She loves helping students follow their dreams and become professionals in their fields.


Katie Weast , Educator & Licensed Cosmetologist

From the start Katie always knew she was meant to be in the beauty industry. Her calling came to light in kindergarten when she cut off another little girls’ ponytail at nap time. Katie is a Sidney’s Hairdressing College graduate at quickly found herself behind the chair at a high-end Aveda salon and spa in Hutchinson. She loves all aspects of hair but specializes in long hair design, waxing, and blonding techniques. She knew while in school she wanted to be involved in education, and in 2018 she found her way to the Crave Beauty Academy team. She enjoys teaching her students all the ways to create beauty in their clients lives.


Melissa Pasley, Lead Guest Service Manager, Educator, & Licensed Cosmetologist

Melissa graduated from Xenon International Academy as a licensed cosmetologist in 2013 and was valedictorian of her class. During her time as a stylist Melissa certified in Eyelash Extensions and American Crew Menswork, as well as obtained her license in the state of Colorado. After spending two years behind the chair, Melissa decided to become a part of the Crave team and is currently the Lead Front Desk Coordinator at our Wichita, KS campus.


Taylor Maule, Guest Service Coordinator, & Licensed Nail Technologist

Taylor graduated from Crave Beauty Academy in 2018 as a licensed nail technician and valedictorian of her class. After graduating from Crave she opened her own nail salon for a year where she focused on natural nail services. Upon returning to Crave Taylor is now our guest service coordinator and enjoys greeting everyone as well as working with the students.

 


Olivia Meyer, Guest Service Coordinator, & Licensed Cosmetologist

Olivia graduated from Hutchinson Community College Cosmetology in 2019 as a licensed cosmetologist. After graduating she jumped into the salon world and focused on men’s cutting and beard work in Hutchinson. Olivia joined the Crave team in August and loves working with the students and guests! She has a strong passion for helping others and a love for working with people.

Tori Spainhoward, Business Office Administrator

Tori comes to Crave with over 3 years of experience in Salon & Spa Guest Service experience.  She grew up in the beauty industry having a cosmetologist in her family.  Being raised in a fun and passionate atmosphere, she finds herself loving the place she has made for herself in it.  Her fun and outgoing personality makes it easy to coach our Future Professionals through their journey at Crave.  Most recently, she has accepted the position of Business Office Administrator.  We are excited to watch her continued growth on our team, and assist future students become Future Professionals!


Jacob Baynes, Licensed Cosmetologist, & Educator

Jacob, a graduate of Crave, has been licensed since 2016.  He brings a passionate dynamic to our team and to the beauty industry as a whole.  He loves being able to share his knowledge and inspire Future Professionals at Crave Beauty Academy.  Jacob is certified as at Level 1 with OYA Beauty, one of the 2 amazing professional haircoloring lines we carry.  He also practices his craft behind the chair at Cary O’Brien’s Salon & Spa in St. Charles, MO and loves spending time with his son.  Most recently, Jacob has been brought on to the team at Kmac Beauty Supply as Brand Ambassador and Educator.


Diana Campana, Licensed Cosmetologist, & Educator

Diana has been in the business of Cosmetology since the early 2000’s, and she’s enjoyed every minute of it.   As a result of being a Cosmetologist, she has had the opportunity to meet and build relationships with so many wonderful people who have remained in her life over the years-clients and coworkers alike.  She says, “I love the art of the business and I love people, which is the perfect “marriage” of a career for me.”
Diana is a colorist, hair designer, skin care specialist, makeup artist, and comes with experience in manicuring and pedicuring.  She has worked closely with her clients that have gone through chemo battling cancer, and has also done hair & makeup for the deceased.  Her career took a turning point when she turned 50, which is when she decided to spend less time behind the chair.  Diana, while still being part time behind the chair, made the decision to bring all of her expertise and experience to our team at Crave!  She says, “It is my privilege and honor to impart what I love and have learned over the years to Future Professionals.  I have never had the kind of reward and fulfillment that I get with educating students.  I have a bond and special relationship with each one.  Our students are the future and it is a huge responsibility that I take to heart everyday!”

 


Dena Moss, Licensed Esthetician & Educator

Dena, a CBA alumni, has been licensed as an Esthetician since 2016.  She is certified in Endermology, NovaLash, Microdermabrasion, Norvell sunless spray tanning, and has extensive knowledge in Dermalogica and Eminence.  She began her career at a salon and spa where her ambition led her to become the Spa Director.  She remained in that position until she decided to continue her journey through the beauty industry as an Educator.  In 2018, she became a part of Crave’s educational team.  Her passion for the beauty industry clearly shines through her teaching methods as she shares her knowledge with our students.  While she assists our students in blossoming within the industry, she is a busy mom of 4 that she is raising alongside her fiancé!  Despite the many obstacles Dena has encountered, she persists to be the best mother, esthetician, and educator she can be!


Erin Piazza,  Educator-In-Training, & Licensed Esthetician

Erin, a CBA alumni, licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist. Erin holds all certifications of this course and has several years’ experience in the field. She also still works with the public and loves to bring her experiences into the classroom to help students with any concerns that may arise in the field even after they graduate. She loves helping others and giving them an experience they will never forget. Erin pride herself on great customer service and quality client care. She has been blessed with the ability to teach other young women in the field of Esthetics. Allowing her the opportunity to give our students tools and techniques to help the students learn as much as possible while at Crave. Erin really cares about the individual as well as the class as a whole. She believes we are a team and will succeed by helping each other and supporting each other!


Cherie Dees, Guest Service Coordinator, Licensed Cosmetologist, & Educator

Cherie is a licensed Cosmetologist and an Alumni of Xenon/Crave Beauty Academy. She is certified in Keratin Complex, American Crew, Lash Bomb Eyelash Extensions, Norvell Spray Tanning and Airbrush Makeup. Cherie is passionate about this industry and helping the students become the best they can be!

 


Amanda Chapman, Admissions Advisor, Licensed Cosmetologist

Amanda graduated from Crave Beauty Academy in 2016 as a Cosmetologist.  Her love for the beauty industry and helping people are her driving force.  After graduating, Amanda worked retail for a professional beauty supply house for 3 years.  During this time, she earned certifications with many industry-leading brands; including Redken, Matrix, and Keratin Complex.  While she was there, she also learned so much more about the industry as a whole, met many Artists, local salon owners, and sales consultants.  Amanda returns to Crave as a team member and alumni excited to grow with her new family, learn even more, and help shape the future, of not only Crave, but our future professionals as well.


Raven Valentine, Educator & Licensed Esthetician

Rae is a 2019  Esthetics graduate of Crave Beauty Academy. She was first introduced to the beauty industry in 2014 as a makeup artist and eyelash specialist. She has owned and operated her own beauty studio since 2018 and decided to expand her brand to esthetics and instructing. Her love for this industry and her passion for knowledge and educating upcoming beauty professionals led her back to Crave and their instructing program.


Lucretia Jones, Educator & Licensed Cosmetologist

Received her cosmetology license in 1991.She is a former graduate from the Instructors program at Xenon International Academy/ Crave in 2000. She has worked behind the chair for over 10 years. She has experience in hair, skin and nails, in which she holds certifications in each field. She has a passion for education, and for inspiring Future Professionals to follow their dreams.

 


Kim McIntosh, President/Owner

Kim McIntosh serves as President and Executive Director of Crave Beauty Academy.

Currently Kim and her husband, Stan McIntosh, own Crave Beauty Academy. She changed the name of Xenon International Academy to Crave Beauty Academy in Wichita, KS and Ballwin (St. Louis), MO in December 2014. Kim opened Salon Crave in Wichita, KS with her daughter and niece as managing partners in December 2014. Most recently, Kim has opened a professional beauty wholesale, KMac Beauty Supply, to assist local professionals in building their brand.

Kim and her husband acquired Xenon International Academy in Kansas and Missouri in 2013. Prior to the acquisition, the past eighteen years she has been partner in three of the six Xenon International Academy campuses. Her educational background includes college studies in Business Administration and Marketing. Kim has been active in the Beauty Industry for twenty five years. She holds a Cosmetology, Esthetics and Instructors license in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. She has worked behind the chair, in salon management and as a manufacturer educator teaching professionals in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado. Kim currently serves on the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) board for the last thirteen years. Kim has served in various positions on the AACS board to include; Vice-President, Secretary, Historian, co-chair of the Annual AACS Convention, team leader of events and supervised an education task force team. Kim also serves on the MACS -Missouri Association of Cosmetology Schools. Kim is also active in the communities of the Crave locations. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women’s Business Owners (NAWBO), National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), Cricket Alley Ministries and the local toastmasters club in Wichita, Kansas.
