2023 is going to be a year of beauty and we can’t wait to experience it! We’ve been watching the upcoming year’s beauty trends and we’re excited to share them with you. Glazed Skin

Chances are you’ve seen the dewy, glazed skin (also called the glazed donut) trend all over the internet. This trend started in 2022, but we see it skyrocketing in 2023! This trend is all about keeping that glossy, hydrated look by using glow-enhancing makeup. You create this look by either finding a moisturizer that helps you look like a glazed donut, or by adding a drop of liquid highlighter to your hands and then applying on the outside of the eyes and temples. Viola! Now you’re a part of the biggest trend of the year.

Tinted SPFs

Gone are the days of full-coverage foundation. We predict the future will be filled with hybrid makeup – aka tinted SPFs. The focus of the next year will be skin-minimalism which means that people will be looking for products that are effective, nourishing, protective, and beneficial. Skincare has been all the hype lately, and the focus will be on makeup that actually benefits your skin, like tinted SPF.

Peptides

A skincare ingredient making it big in 2023 is peptides. Peptides are amazing at strengthening and rebuilding damaged skin. Peptides help correct fine lines, dullness, redness, and discoloration. Given all that it does, it’s no wonder that peptides are finally getting the recognition they deserve!

Lip Liner And Lip Balm Duo

TikTok likes to call the lip liner and lip balm duo, “gym lips”. Although this trend is nothing new, it became popular by makeup artist Kelli Anne Sewell. She said that this is the ultimate no-makeup makeup look when heading to the gym (or anywhere else). To get this look, all you need to do is put on a natural lip liner and a lip balm on top. This is the perfect look for wanting a little something on your lips, without being too done up.

The Butterfly Cut

Another trend made popular by TikTok. We would describe this hairstyle as a layered cut that gives a feathered look, resembling a butterfly wing. While the trend is new, the cut is not. If you look back at ‘90s glam, you’ll see a lot of face-framing, voluminous haircuts that make the butterfly cut what it is.

Milky White Nails

You’ve most likely heard the term glazed donut nails. This trend was created by Hailey Bieber in 2022 and we don’t see it dying in 2023. This look is perfect for a minimalist, neutral nail look that will match any occasion and outfit.
